Scrapbook Mario and Eva

In 1975, Cravo Neto began to work on a scrapbook, which was produced over the course of a couple of years. In this magnificent sequence of pages we see notes, visual comments, magazine clippings, works by colleagues: the daily life of a restless visual artist and of a photographer mindful of his craft. As is usual in Cravo Neto’s poetics, this scrapbook shows chance and construction, improvisation and precision, all hand in hand and with an accelerated juxtaposition and remarkable visual intelligence.
